MiniWorld caught up with Nick Swift from Swiftune (www.swiftune.com), who is champing at the bit to go racing this weekend at the Goodwood Revival, where he will be sharing a drive with Le Mans winner Darren Turner in the St Mary's trophy. The Minis will be up against the huge Fords and Jaguars, in classic historic racing style. Nick has won the St Mary's trophy race for the past two years. There is still time to get hold of tickets for Goodwood, however they must be pre-ordered. Visit the Goodwood website for details. |

British Mini Club's Mini Fest happened on Sunday 4 September at the Uttoxeter Racecourse in Staffordshire. Our concerns over yet another damp and grey Mini show were soon put to rest and there was a decent turnout from the clubs and concours regulars. Congratulations to Tracey Lippett for winning the Premier Concours trophy and also to Bob Simmonds for winning the prize Italian Job Mini. For just £2 Bob won the keys to around £3,000's worth of Mini – lucky chap!
